Performance

On top, if all these goodies we also got 256 GB SSD storage making it fast enough. While it doesn’t have the most powerful graphics card, its NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 gives you enough power for basic gaming functions such as playing Older console classics or newer titles in their genre without any issues at all!

TheGeForce GTX 1650 is still a pretty decent card for gaming. It won’t play all of your favorite games at Ultra Settings but you can get by with them on High or lower if paired up nicely with Ryzen CPU that also has enough power to run these older titles without issue!

2. Lenovo IdeaPad L340 Best Gaming Laptop Under $800

Our Pick

Lenovo Ideapad L340, 15.6 Inch, IPS Display, Intel Core i5-9300H Processor, 8GB DDR4 RAM, 512GB Nvme SSD, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650

$801.00

Lenovo is a brand that has always been associated with affordability and reliability. The IdeaPad L340, however, balances the two in just the right way. The laptop is slightly more expensive than most others but it easily makes up for this with sufficient power to support everyday computing needs. It also comes equipped with a powerful graphics card for gaming enthusiasts looking to spend around $800.

When not gaming, this laptop does well in both work and more high-end performance tasks thanks to its two modes: Quick mode for games and Quiet mode for other applications.

GPU

It includes two types of Nvidia’s GeForce GTX 1650 with 3-4GB video memory. This one equipped with 4GB. We tested it with 4GB VRAM version and found it to deliver results above-average performance.

When running on battery power it has slightly lower performance than what you would expect from other laptops equipped with the same GPU.

GPU Performance Comparison – 3D Mark 11

Lenovo IdeaPad L340 GPU Performance

Gaming Performance

The GeForce GTX 1650 is an excellent graphics card for gamers on a budget. It’s capable of running games at Full HD resolution with ease, but you’ll have to settle with slightly lower settings sometimes and that also shows up in our tests when we test current titles like “The Witcher 3”.

You’ll be able to enjoy most games smoothly. Thanks in part to its graphics card’s ability but low settings necessary when playing on max difficulty modes!

When playing “The Witcher 3” it can maintain the performance for longer periods without experiencing any drops in frame rates. So gamers who play lots or have multiple screens won’t experience frame drops.

We found these Frame Rates in our test for different games.

Lenovo IdeaPad L340 FPS performance for game

RAM Performance

The Lenovo IdeaPad L340 is more than capable of handling your needs with its ample RAM. With two slots that each hold 8GB, this has enough power for whatever may come up!

RAM performance can be an important factor in determining the overall speed of your computer. This laptop came with 8GB installed, but to get a better idea on how it performs we ran PCMark 10 benchmarks and compared results against others like ASUS TUF FX505DT that sported 8 gigs and more expensive than Lenovo IdeaPad L340 was found here at 13270 points vs 13575 points.

There was a slight difference between both and the price difference is large almost $100.

Storage

It offers a wide range of storage options for the perfect balance between performance and capacity. It has 512GB SSD space, with optional Intel Optane support that provides faster boot times than traditional hard drives while consuming less power – an excellent option if you’re looking at adding more stability without taking up any extra physical room!

Battery Life

Depending on what you’re doing with your computer, battery life can vary. If it’s for gaming or working in an office setting then expect around five hours of usage before needing to charge up again. This will vary depending upon how heavy duty the settings are that affect performance mode.

Pros
  • Fast and powerful
  • Good for it’s price
  • Play Shadow of Mordor game at 80 FPS
  • Compfortable keyboard
  • Good audio
Cons
  • USB ports shortage
  • Less battery life when gaming (2 hours)

3. Acer Nitro 5 15.6 Best Gaming Laptop

Our Pick

Acer Nitro 5 AN515 Laptop, Core i5-8300H, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD, NVidia GTX 1050 Ti 4GB Graphics

$834.85.00

Acer Nitro 5 is the perfect choice for affordable laptop gamers. It delivers more than its price tag with a powerful graphics card and 8th generation Intel Core processor that can be upgraded to high-end 16GB RAM!

The 1080p screen will keep you feeling at ease while playing your favorite game. All thanks in part to this easy operating system designed specifically around user control features like dual fans or unlimited key customization options.

Nitro’s high-end gaming laptop is a fresh take on the genre with its user-controlled cooling system. It lines up against competitors like Dell G3 15 and Lenovo Legion Y530, though it has some special features that set it apart from these laptops as well!

CPU Performance

It’s worth noting that there are a few different variants of the Nitro 5. It has very decent Nvidia graphics card that’s great for entertainment purposes. The storage consists of two drives: a 256GB SATA M.2 SSD coupled to the motherboard and 1TB 2.5″ HDDs as secondary storage devices.

For this particular gaming laptop, the new 8th-gen Intel i5 processor is a real energy-saving initiative. It offers much faster performance than last year’s 7th-Gen Kaby Lake version (since both are quad-core processors with HyperThreading). Yet at the same time the 8th-gen version consumes less power — not much more than the 7th gen one does.

This laptop processor comes in higher clock speeds than the older KabyLake i5-7300HQ which means it’s capable of running more tasks due to this difference in clock speed and it also happens to be faster than last years model.

GPU Performance

The Nitro 5, with a 1080p Shadow of the Tomb Raider benchmark (highest settings), averaged 52 frames per second. The budget laptop average for this game was 36 fps. This was much faster than budget gaming laptop average (36 fps) and way ahead of ROG Strix G15’s score with Nvidia GeForce RTX 1650 Ti GPU at 40 fps.

GeForce GTX 1050 will let you play GTA and Rise of the Tomb Raider at Medium/High settings or other heavy games at normal settings.

Gaming Tests
Gaming Tests Acer Nitro 5 Best Gaming Laptop Under 700 Dollars

Design

The Acer Nitro 5 has its pros and cons, but the look of it is not one of them. We like how it’s designed with gamer aesthetics in mind- red trimmings on keys, backlighting, trackpad and top bar!

More importantly still is how comfortable this laptop feels from a user perspective: specifically its key placement that makes typing much less strenuous than usual.

Its display hinges are sturdy, so they won’t slip down or break easily when you move your laptop around. To top it all off, the laptop’s trackpad is surprisingly bad. You might not expect much from a trackpad for gaming purposes, but we must say that this model’s touch pad is just awful.

Pros
  • Beautiful design
  • Good temperature while full load of GPU
  • Good gaming performance
  • Fan speed control
  • Good battery life
  • Comfortable keyboard
Cons
  • Touchpad not comfortable
  • Loud fans under heavy task

4. Acer AN515-55 – Best $700 Budget Gaming Laptop

Our Pick

Acer Nitro AN515-55-53E5 Gaming Laptop | Intel Core i5-10300H | NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Laptop GPU

$789.99

This is one of my favorite and in my opinion best gaming laptop under 700 dollars. Acer’s Nitro 5 laptop is a great budget computer with an attractive design and some impressive specifications. Its black chassis immediately identify it as part of the Nitro family, but Acer has tried to avoid overdoing it on the gamer theme by making its logo red without any LEDs.

This laptop is a treat – you know that right? It’s very easy to look at and it feels sturdy. The keyboard is equipped with thin bezels and a lit red keyboard (a nice touch!).

Another great feature of this laptop is its slim form factor. You can easily put it in your backpack when heading off to college or work. The color scheme is similar to Space Grey which means using the computer won’t feel like an eyesore!

CPU

The processor inside your laptop is a 2.50GHz quad-core Intel CPU that runs at 4.5GHz when it’s really needed, which improves performance and more than doubles the potential RAM speed from 2933MHz to 2666MHz!

Acer Nitro 5 AN515-55-53E5 CPU performance

GPU Performance

The Acer Nitro 5 comes with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 GPU with 4GB of VRAM. This means the machine will be able to render Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla at 1080p, 53fps in Ultra mode. It also has some other benefits.

The GPU handily surpasses the average frame rate of 36 fps that most mainstream gaming laptops can manage, as well as any other laptops with the same NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 graphics engine.

This laptop’s performance capabilities are far above that of your average gaming computer. In fact, it beats out nearly all other laptops with the same graphics engine ( NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050), with one exception – the Acer Predator Helios 300 and Asus TUF Dash 15. Compared to these two models, this competitively priced machine falls behind in rigorous performance benchmarks by an average of 13 fps when playing Far Cry New Dawn (Ultra, 1080p).

Battery Life

Don’t be deceived by the underwhelming display of the Acer Nitro 5! This gaming laptop actually runs for almost four hours which is longer than you would expect from a budget laptop. We know that’s not enough, there’s an option to plug it in!

With the 10th-generation processor, no one needs to worry about sluggish speeds when playing as the laptop stays cool while playing games or editing photos and videos.

Whether you’re watching movies, playing games, or just browsing the internet, this machine beats most others in its league.

Display

With a 1920x1080p display, 144Hz refresh rate, and brightness level of 250nits, the Acer Nitro 5 offers competitive gamers a screen fit for their needs.

A faster screen won’t make up for slower hardware though (such as using older Intel HD graphics instead of NVIDIA graphics), but in some cases, faster frame rates are helpful to give you a smoother experience while you play. Games may also call for lower resolutions that look better on some screens, such as 1366×768 instead of 1080p.

For higher resolutions (2560×1440 or 4K), you will have to pay more than the Nitro 5.

Pros
  • Great GPU performance
  • 144 Hz display
  • RAM & Storage upgradable
  • Backlit keyboard
  • Good number of ports
  • Slim & Full keyboard
  • Battlefield game runs perfect
Cons
  • Low storage
  • Thin bezel
  • Loud fans

5. HP Pavilion – Best Gaming Laptop For Under $700

Our Pick

HP Pavilion Gaming 15.6-Inch, Intel Core i5-9300H Processor, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 (4 GB), 8 GB SDRAM, 256 GB SSD

$760.51.00

With a price point of a gaming laptop under 700 dollars, this laptop is is a great bargain for gamers! I noticed some people reviewed that the battery life of this laptop is bad, but in reality anyone gaming on a laptop can’t get more than 2 hours mere unless you are willing to spend hundreds of dollars on it which doesn’t make sense when this system already comes with an SSD and Intel Optane Memory- all for less than $800!

Gaming Performance

The latest games like Fortnight, PUBG and Overwatch are designed to be streamed on your gaming console. The high graphics settings and powerful processing of this laptop make it a perfect companion for multitasking.

It can play Apex Legends, but you’ll need to lower the settings for it to work well. This laptop allows you to play games like Minecraft and Fortnite.

This HP Pavillion Gaming Laptop comes with i5-9300h Processor, quad-core, 2.4GHz and a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 graphics card. It offers solid contrast ratio, color gamut, and battery life which are all better than the average laptop.

The only downside is that it can’t process at more than 60FPS at High settings due to its lack of hardware; however if you’re looking for singleplayer or strategy gaming on a budget this is still your best option!

Comparison

As a gamer, I know how hard it can be to maintain a consistent high-performance computing experience. For those of you who have either just started playing games or are former gamers who still need their fix, I sought to compare the HP Pavilion 15 laptop with other similar gaming computers in the same category and price range.

All of compared laptops feature six core processors except one which was Dell G5 15 SE. They use full strength graphics cards that are almost as powerful as what HP’s system offers but not quite as powerful .

Our testing found that the HP Pavilion Gaming 15 performed well in both productivity and creative programs (like Photoshop for example) when running at 1080p resolution with high image quality.

However, its Max-Q GPU does limit its capabilities especially when playing PC games, if you’re looking for a more immersive experience, as it fell behind competitors using real NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti GPUs.

Cool

If you’re looking for a device that will keep your parts cooled, without affecting sound or causing any issues, then this is the one. This device has been adjusted to prevent overheating, and it also has an IR sensor that adjusts its settings.

Pros
  • RAM and Storage Upgradable
  • Budget gaming laptop
  • SD card slot
  • Cooling thermals
  • Backlit keyboard
  • Solid build
  • Good gaming performance
Cons
  • No thunderbolt
  • Loud fans
  • 2 hours battery life when gaming

6. MSI GF63 Thin Gaming Laptop For Just Under $700

Our Pick

MSI GF63 Thin 9SC-068 15.6″ Gaming Laptop, Intel Core i5-9300H, NVIDIA GeForce GTX1650, 8GB, 256GB SSD

$695.99

The GF63 Thin 9SC by MSI is a good 15-inch gaming laptop. Two key factors which make this device so popular are its slim design and great performance. This is just 2.2 cm thick, taking up minimal space on your desk.

Additionally, it has an 8 GB of RAM (which should be more than ample for most gamers) and a 256-GB SSD for access to your games; all for under $700!

The kind of competition for the MSI GF63 9SC is definitely fierce. In fact, that’s something you can appreciate if you actually check out the other 15-inch gaming notebooks such as the Dell G5 15 5590, the Acer Aspire Nitro 5 AN515, or even the HP Omen 15. Let’s see if we can discover any patterns between these gaming laptops (apart from their prices) with a bit of comparison:

MSI GF63 Thin 9SC comparison with other same specs laptops
MSI GF63 $700 gaming laptop comparison with other same category laptops

Performance

MSI Gaming Laptops are a good choice for the price. But if you’d like something a bit more premium, you might want to consider the Acer Predator Helios 300 – though it will be able to play high graphically-intense titles than MSI Gaming Laptops.

The main difference between the two is that MSI laptops utilize an Intel Core i5 CPU with 8GB of memory and 256GB NVME M.2 SSD whereas the Acer Predator Helios 300 utilizes an Intel Core i7 going up to 4.5GHz when needed, alongside 16GB of RAM and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Ti GPU paired with a smooth 144Hz display.

So while MSI laptops provide better performance when doing typical office work or playing games likes Sims 4 (Madden 19 and GTA V will run at medium settings on high framerates). The Acer Predator Helios 300 is better matched for graphics-intensive tasks like gaming at 60+ fps, photo/video editing, rendering, or running virtual machines of course !!!!

Design

The MSI GF63 is almost a carbon copy of the GS65 Stealth. It features a beautiful design from head to toe, with materials fit for a flagship machine that’s been carefully placed. If you like the beauty of premium machines like MSI typically offers but can’t afford the price on those high-end gaming laptops then this might be the one you’re looking for!

The MSI GF63 Thin looks similar but is much cheaper than the GS65 Stealth Thin (last year’s model).

Battery Life

One of the main concerns about the MSI GF63 is its battery life. While most people don’t have to spend their days gaming with it, casual gamers will likely not be thrilled to learn that it only lasts for about 4-5 hours before needing a charge.

At least though, you can double down on doing some light work or school projects if you aren’t a heavy gamer like me and don’t use it as often, and once you do need to recharge, not playing games makes charging a whole lot faster.

Still though, if you’re really looking for something long-lasting, consider the Lenovo IdeaPad L340 Gaming Laptop which lasts around 7-8 hours off one charge!

Affordable

MSI’s 15.6″ gaming laptop is the definition of a budget powerhouse. At $695.99, it’s incredibly affordable for an excellent piece of equipment, which makes it suitable for novices and long-time enthusiasts alike. And at 7.63 lbs, this laptop will help you get around without all the extra weight!

All that being said, it does come with some shortcomings to keep in mind when considering its specs. The battery life isn’t ideal for anyone who likes to leave their computer on or doesn’t have access to a power source while using it.

Nonetheless, if you prioritize performance over portability, then MSI’s GF63 15.6″ is definitely something worth looking into!

Pros
  • Affordable
  • Quiet
  • Slim design
  • Best for mid-range gaming
  • 4 USB ports
Cons
  • Gets hot while intense usage
  • Battery life not so good

7. ASUS FX706LI Top Rated Gaming Laptop

Our Pick

ASUS TUF FX706LI-ES53 Gaming F17 Gaming Laptop, 17.3” 144Hz Core i5-10300H, GeForce GTX 1650 Ti, 8GB DDR4, 512GB PCIe SSD, RGB Keyboard

$854.99

The Asus TUF Gaming F17 FX706LI-ES53 is an affordable machine for people who want a stylish gaming laptop that is mobile and welcoming like a 17-inch desktop display. For under $900 it’s capable of doing just about everything you’d want in a console replacement.

The best part is that its price tag makes it a compelling purchase for both casual and mid-range gamers alike. We found this laptop to be well designed but at the same time great in performance.

Gaming Performance

We’ve been looking forward to the TUF Gaming model F17 ever since we heard those rumors regarding its specs. Though it’s still not an ideal gaming laptop when it comes to price/performance ratio, though we are disappointed that it’s not as potent in gaming capabilities as some would like.

Its Intel Core i5-10300H CPU and Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 Ti GPU make it an entry-level device, but you are going to have to be patient with it. It will not deliver an outstanding performance, compared to the other devices – the Acer Predator Helios 300 and MSI Pulse GL66, both equipped with more-powerful RTX 3060 and RTX 3070 GPUs.

Despite its entry-level nature, the TUF Gaming F17 is a fairly capable performer that delivers improved performance over last year’s GeForce GTX 1050 Ti graphics cards.

Although it may not be able to play AAA games at their highest settings, this laptop will easily suffice for both eSports and indie titles which tend to run well even at medium graphics settings.

For example, Far Cry: New Dawn (excellent fps at high settings), or Hitman 3 (good Avg FPS above 60 fps) can be enjoyed in HD resolution on this device without any problems at medium or high graphic presets.

Design

What a stylish wear! Cool dual shades of gray and black take the central stage as part of an eye-catching design. Subtle colors are neutralized with metallic highlights, giving the chassis a unique look. There’s no doubt the new XPS will give you greater freedom to express yourself!

Display

Gamer’s need a steady frame rate, so your display should be able to always meet their needs. The TUF FX706 has that ASUS essence with a Full HD 144Hz IPS-level panel. You’re getting a premium viewing experience with 16:9 aspect ratio and 1920 x 1080 resolution for crystal-clear graphics with zero loss at side angles up to 178 degrees (hence the “Eye Care” moniker).

This is all wrapped into an ultra-responsive 17.3″ package, meaning you can enjoy on-screen gaming action comfortably from almost any distance.

Pros
  • 17 inch screen good for gaming
  • IPS display
  • Latest and fast processor 10th Gen
  • RAM & Storage Upgradable
  • Mid-range gaming laptop
  • Good display quality
Cons
  • Expensive than $700
  • Only 3 USb ports

8. TECLAST F15 Pro – Best Gaming Laptop Under 600 Dollars

Our Pick

TECLAST 15.6″ Gaming Laptop 12GB+256GB 10th Intel Core i3-1005G1 Laptop Computer Up to 3.4GHz

$539.99.00

In terms of affordability and cheap pc, this is one of the best gaming laptop under 700 dollars. Teclast’s housing is a combination of aluminum and plastic. The stability is decent but not outstanding for this price range; some peers offer more stable cases.

However, the hinge creaks somewhat and does not seem very well-adjusted – it wobbles quite noticeably when you touch the screen. The keyboard has only painted keys (not backlit or illuminated) and produces some typewriter noise as you type.

If we ignore these disadvantages, we can say that the keyboard functions quite well and Touchpad was also impeccable; emulating different clicks such as right, double right, right-click and even shift worked without any problems.

Performance

Intel’s recently-announced Ice Lake processor is still new for the year 2021, but it packs quite a punch with its two cores and four threads. The Core i3-1005G1 also has a slim 34-watt thermal design power (TDP), which lowers to just 15 watts in real-world scenarios.

It may not be ideal for hardcore gamers, but everyday computing tasks like video streaming move at lightning speed on the processor – even when 4K media files are involved.

Even today, Intel integrated graphics are more than adequate for daily use given their extremely low power draw and small form factor, making the new platform very appealing as a dual-boot setup alongside Windows 10 or any other operating system that you prefer on your primary desktop or laptop computer!

The cooling system operates quietly and produces comparatively low heat levels, keeping the device all the more compact even with higher electrical loads.

Gaming Performance Test

Telecast tbolt f15 pro gaming performance test

CPU & GPU

The Telecast F15 is powered by an i3-1005g1 processor + 900 MHz UHD Graphics, which allows for optimum gaming performance and incredible speeds. Furthermore, this features hyperbolic cooling tubes on both sides as well as built-in fans to keep the device cool while playing games over long periods of time.

Under the hood of this laptop lies 12GB LPDDR4 memory for multitasking. There is also a 256GB SSD solid-state drive. However, if one thinks that 256GB won’t be enough space for all their games and projects, they can add an SDD under its belly cover as it retains a hard drive expansion port.

RAM & Storage

TELECAST F15 Pro comes loaded with the best latest hardware that money can buy. 12gigs of LPDDR4 RAM and 256gigs of high-speed SSD mean you’ll have instant access to your data, with loading times so fast it’ll make your heads spin.

And you’re getting all this for a great price, way below what some other manufacturers charge for similar specs. The TELECAST F15 is built for speed no matter what apps or media you’re running, so you’ll always be ahead of the game.

And since the storage is expandable (thanks to the Micro SD slot), it means even more time saved. If upgrades are on your mind, it might not be easier in this compact device due to its configuration.

Design & Storage

This is a sharp and classy device, with its dramatic finish and metal accents along the keyboard. Inside it features copper heat pipes that runs right through the top of the fan which has been specially designed to minimize noise at high loads.

And while you’re working hard, why should you have to worry about your battery dying on you? This laptop has over 6+ hours of battery life so no matter how long your day’s going to be all you need is a short break and you can pick up right where you left off.

Pros
  • Very quiet
  • Enough RAM
  • Extremely slim
  • Top build quality
  • Numpad
Cons
  • No backlit keyboard
  • No thunderbolt
  • For casual or entry level gamers

9. HP Pavilion 15.6″ Gaming Laptop – AMD CPU

Our Pick

HP – Pavilion 15.6″ Gaming Laptop – AMD Ryzen 5 – 8GB Memory – NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 – 256GB SSD

$745.99

The main difference between HP pavilion listed at NO#5 and this one is the processor. You are good to go with any one of them as they are almost similar in performance. While this one is a little bit less expensive than HP pavilion intel processor core i5.

Competitors

The Pavilion Gaming is one of the most competitively priced laptop ranges on offer so it might appeal if you’re on a budget or just looking for an affordable entry level gaming laptop that still offers high performance according to its price tag.

The latest iteration in its family, model 15-ec1073d features stronger hardware compared to the previous generation. This includes an AMD Ryzen 5 4600H APU with a GeForce GTX 1650 GPU. When comparing themselves to the competition, Pavilion Gaming 15 falls between the below laptops:

  • Nexoc GH5 515IG
  • Asus TUF FX505DT
  • Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3i 15IMH05
  • Acer Nitro 5 AN515-44
  • MSI Bravo 15
  • Dell G5 15 5590

Display

The 15.6″ screen has a max resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a contrast ratio of 1,731:1. However, the sharpest content is limited to a maximum brightness of 248 cd/m². This can leave dark areas in darker scenes unduly dim.

The flicker-free display should be comfortable to use even for sensitive users.

10. Dell G3 15 3500 – Good Performance Gaming Laptop Under $700

Our Pick

Dell Gaming G3 15 3500, 15.6 inch Intel Core i5-10300H, 8GB DDR4 RAM, 512GB SSD, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti 4GB GDDR6

$745.00

In the past it was mostly these young, scruffy, male gamers that collected the gaming laptops from Dell. This year however, there has been a shift in their marketing campaign as it is clear for them that there are women looking for a laptop to play games on too.

That’s why Dell decided to repackage their gaming laptops with a sleeker look and thoughtfully design backpacks which will allow women to secretly pull out their laptops from work without raising any suspicion.

The Dell G3 15 offers lots of great features that make it one of the best gaming computers out today. It combines powerful specs with a fashionable, professional look and robust durability.

The exterior is rugged and durable, yet simple in design so as not to distract users from the intense HD gaming and smooth virtual reality experiences they’ll get just minutes after setting up the unit.

Design

Dell’s G3 15 gaming laptop comes crafted with a plastic body, which is designed to be as powerful and sturdy as it is down-to-Earth. Dell implements this quality into their models by meticulously matching each of their plastics individually to the requirements of their specific projects in order to bring an added level of sophistication that often eludes competitors and other brands who do no such thing.

The Dell G3 15 brings classic aesthetics with its choice in materials, but is also able to entice the eyes without fail due to their tiny designs here and there, which subconsciously educate the viewer on all the different hues available at a simple glance.

You might be surprised to hear that the G3 15 isn’t quite as light as a feather. At 5.18 pounds, it’s certainly one of the heavier notebooks in its class and on average weighs about 1 kilogram more than other fans of the same size and shape. The same can be said for its thickness and wideness.

Ports

The Dell G3 15 is equipped with just about every port you could want in a gaming notebook. Aside from a HDMI and mini-display port, there is also a Thunderbolt 3 connector available which makes it unrivaled in comparison to other similar products on the marked.

Display

When it comes to gaming laptops, the Dell G3 15″ is a true chameleon. Its display boasts some major advantages including a 144 Hz refresh rate and an 81 % color accuracy that combine to produce vivid graphics.

Its main negative trait is that it can bleed light very easily with dark images due to uneven backlighting.

Performance

The G3 3500 is a great middle-ground system in terms of the price-to-performance ratio, which means it’s not too expensive but also isn’t one of those ultra cheap options that won’t last you very long.

Inside this device is an Intel Core i5-10300H processor, NVIDIA GTX 1660 Ti graphics card, 4GB RAM, and 512GB of storage space.

Additionally, we ran Far Cry 5 at Ultra High on the G3 3500. We experienced no lag and could enjoy playing the game extensively due to its lasting power. The Laptop’s Power Saver worked well with its processor’s default settings of 60% to keep the video card running cool while playing. This allowed us to run games lengthy sessions in an air-conditioned room without any issues.

  • Solid build
  • Backlit keyboard
  • Dual fan
  • Fingerprint Scanner
  • expansion slot for a M.2
  • Thunderbolt 3
